Downtown SLC, Photoshoot
Utah Photographers! Downtown Salt Lake City is a place that is so easy to get overwhelmed by. It seems like everywhere you look there is a historical building or skyscraper begging to be photographed, but then you turn around and there is a bunch of pigeons eating some week-old pizza. I shot these photos at one of my favorite spots in Salt Lake City, Exchange Place. There is a parking garage there that the owner doesn’t super mind if you take photos, as long as you are respectful. I also brought an emergency blanket as a quick little backdrop change and it turned out * chefs kiss *.
Editorial Film Shoot With Silvia & Ivy
I got the original Idea from Pinterest, the Tibi spring 2021 ready to wear collection shoot is 🤌🏻🤤. I shot all these on Kodak Portra 400 using my Canon EOS Rebel G Film camera. The Rebel G is great because it has an EF mount which means you can use your EF lenses you use with your Canon DSLR’s. If you are interested in learning more about film I launched a $50 film course where I go over all things Film, Film Camera’s and everything to get you set up to shoot film and get it developed. It’s a great fit if you are familiar with photography and are intimidated by film photography.
Shooting for MavoCare
Mavocare is a vaginal wellness brand that I first shot for in 2020 (I Think?) I was so excited to to shoot for them again, and this time in a more lifestyle setting. Their flagship product is a boric acid suppository with calendula so we wanted to do some still life’s alluding to the use case but in a way that would not get the ads banned. I’m so happy with how the images turned out, and I was so happy to work at Lite Photo Studios again.
Lower Level Loft, SLC Utah Photo Shoot
In Studio Photo Shoot for a by Sarah Robinson Photo, a Salt Lake City, Utah based Editorial Photographer who shoots feminist art. She and the Model Aliyah worked together to create a concept in reaction to the overturning of Roe v Wade in the Summer of 2021. The photos reference a housewife who is tired of pretending to be nice and neat and finally gives up and smashes the cake making a mess but is doing what she wants.
