Lower Level Loft, SLC Utah Photo Shoot

A lil while ago Lower Level Lofts posted on Instagram that they were hosting free sessions for woman photographers looking to explore feminist art. If you know me, you know I’m immediately in lol. I had never been to their studio before but I will definitely be returning, it is such a pretty and unique space with such beautiful light (my session was around 4 and the light was coming in through the windows in a different room than I shot in and was just🤌🏻🤤). Definitely check it out for a photo studio with vintage vibes in SLC, Utah. Aliyah and I worked together to create a concept in reaction to the overturning of Roe v Wade in the Summer of 2021. The photos reference a housewife who is tired of pretending to be nice and neat and finally gives up and smashes the cake making a mess but is doing what she wants.
