If you’ve ever done texture shots you know they are harder than they look! I’ve linked a few of my must have products to get those perfect photos for your next shoot. In addition to these, there is so much value in just looking around and getting creative! I’ve seen textures created with packaging that look so unique, so just keep your eyes peeled and be open to really any ideas.

Go to Basics for texture shots: Palette knife set (So good for smoothing out and creating shapes for liquids/creams) , Acrylic sheet (put this over your backdrop and you can easily wipe clean with some glass cleaner, that way there is no bleed into the paper/you don’t have to constantly be changing the background) , stencils (Perfect for powders, outline the one you want with some tape to keep the powder more contained.)
